Snowmotion AS has signed a contract to develop and produce new snowshoes for the Armed Forces

Bertel O. Steen Defense & Security and Rottefella acquired the company to build up development and production capacity in January 2021. The two owners, have worked close with the Norwegian School of Winter Warfare, to develop a product that is tailored to the Armed Forces’ needs. At the same time, an small enterprise has been built up in the Norwegian Defense industry, that can offer a complete system, produced in Norway, ready for use in the field, for the Norwegian Armed Forces and for our allies abroad.
